About Her

Rebecca Moody

After working with my husband in our architectural design firm for 25 years, we closed it to pursue other interests in 2002-2004. We’ve continued to work together on self-publishing watercolor books and a number of civic interests.  I currently enjoy developing my skills in web design, graphic design, and social media.

In addition to working with Bob as comptroller in our design/construction/real estate development firm, I managed a KnollSource showroom, an art gallery, and was an art consultant for design clients. Upon graduating from Vanderbilt University, I briefly worked as an editorial assistant, and a homes editor for Southern Living/Progressive Farmer magazines before joining Moody & Associates, Inc. in 1979.

Since then, I’ve worked for many years in a number of varied positions as a volunteer on projects involving technology, book publishing, newsletters, graphic design, social networking, copy writing, or related industries. Together, Bob and I self-published and marketed Gifts of Grace, Alabama Churches in Watercolor, and The Church Triumphant, English Churches in Watercolour. As a volunteer for the Junior League, I was Technology Chair for 2 years, and was Copy/Production Director for the cookbook, Tables of Content.

I’ve created blogs for retail businesses,  city ordinances, political campaigns, an elevated highway, real estate, and a prize2thefuture competition. I developed a social media strategy for our local chamber, and developed much of the content on the website (resulting in a Jemison Visionary Award.) I’m proficient in WordPress and Blogger, familiar with HTML and CSS, and have customized cafepress, shopify, and WP sites as well as handling content management, databases, and graphic design on numerous website templates.

Since the early 80’s, I’ve continued to work part-time as property manager, leasing agent, and bookkeeper for Moody Realty and Lakeview LLC and maintained a real estate broker’s license for a number of years.

As a result, I have a broad range of self-taught technology and business skills, and constantly train myself in new applications and software.  Need some help?  Give us a call!  We have lots of varied experiences and training we can bring to your business.
