Bob’s 39+colors watercolor palette is currently based on David Lyle Millard’s palette (pictured at right) from the ©1984 book, Joy of Watercolor. 
Most watercolors are painted on acid-free archival Arches 140# or 300# watercolor paper, or Fabriano 140# or 300# watercolor paper. All are painted with Winsor Newton permanent pigment transparent watercolors. Larger watercolors are painted on full sheets 22″ x 28″, and the current small series is painted on 12″ x 12″ pieces for an approximate image size of 10″ x 10″. The artist has also painted very large watercolors on 40″ x 40″ custom sheets. Although the artist sketches and photographs on site, most paintings are finished in the studio using photographs assuming artistic liberties of the artist.
The artist retains the right to reproduce any of his work (including work in private collections) in publications or for commercial purposes. All work shown here is protected by copyright. Any copying or reproduction of these images for commercial purposes without the express written permission of the artist is strictly forbidden.
